I have 4 years of experience in practical field including 1yr of internship from NRS MEDICAL COLLEGE,and 3 years of junior residentship in General Surgery Department in IPGME&R &SSKMH ; have done a short day course of basic life saving and emergency management, passed MBBS with overall 63% marks and passed MS General Surgery from IPGME&R and SSKM HOSPITAL, KOLKATA with overall 67.2% marks in 2022

● Emergency: 3 years experience in level 1 trauma centre in IPGMER. Have done all sorts of emergency life saving procedures including; splenectomy,acute peptic perforation repair,acute abdominal obstruction, intra peritoneal bleeding, emergency tracheostomy, endotracheal intubation, chest tube insertion, bowel resection and anastomoses, stoma formation etc.
● Major elective surgery: 3 years experience of surgical training under guidance of respected Prof Dr Gautam Das and Prof Dr Amitava Sarkar. Assisted in all kinds of major surgeries like whipples procedure, total thyroidectomy, Laparoscopic hernia repair, Large Retroperitoneal mass resection, Lateral pancreaticojejunostomy. Have done as the lead surgeon operations like laparoscopic cholecystectomy, open inguinal mesh hernioplasty, SFJ ligation,stripping and perforators ligation, modified radical mastectomy, right hemicolectomy, gastrojejunostomy, subtotal gastrectomy, total gastrectomy, open cholecystectomy, open choledocholithotomy and t tube placement, cystogastrostomy, laparoscopic appendicectomy, open appendicectomy etc.
● Minor procedures: minor procedures like wound dressing,debridement, suture removal, cyst and lipoma excision, hydrocoele repair, circumcission, foreign body removal etc has been done by me in my residentship years
● Superspeciality posting: have done 1 month of rotational posting in each of 6 superspeciality subjects in IPGMER.
